Local fireworks support Poppy Factory veterans

Joanna Jacobson Events, Fundraising, Getting you back to work

The annual Richmond family fireworks display, taking place on Sunday 4th November 2018 at the Athletic Ground, will generously donate 50p from the sale of each ticket to The Poppy Factory. The funding will all go towards supporting veterans with mental and physical health conditions back into meaningful and sustained employment.

The fireworks will be supported by the two rugby clubs that play at the venue, Richmond FC and London Scottish FC, as well as Richmond Council.

The Richmond Athletic Association stages a spectacular evening of family fun every year which includes a choreographed fireworks display by multi-award winning Phoenix Fireworks. This year the display’s theme is “90’s Music Night” with fireworks set to iconic tracks from those glorious years. There will also be live entertainment prior to the fireworks spectacle as well as funfair rides, mulled wine, hot food and an after-party in the Members’ Bar. Gates will open from 4.30pm with the fireworks display set to take place at 7.00pm sharp.

Ticket prices start from £9.00 for adults and £6.00 for children (under 16) and are ONLY on sale online through the Eventbrite platform which can be found via the RAA website.  Tickets must be purchased in advance – no tickets will be available at the gate this year – so it is recommended to buy early before they sell out.
