Richmond’s summer garden party gives back to charity

Joanna Jacobson General

Richmond residents and beyond are invited to an afternoon at Trumpeters’ House on Saturday 2nd June, 2pm to 5pm, in support of The Poppy Factory.

The Poppy Factory’s Chief Executive, Deirdre Mills said:

“We are delighted to be hosting another garden party this year in the enchanting grounds of Trumpeter’s House. This is such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the gardens with friends and family and we expect to see many people from the local community there.  We would like to thank everyone in advance for supporting The Poppy Factory’s vital work helping veterans with disabilities back into work.”

Visitors will be able to spend a summer’s afternoon in the beautiful surrounds enjoying traditional lawn games and a brand new children’s fairy door hunt. There will also be music from the Richmond Brass Band playing traditional and contemporary brass music. Refreshments will be available.

The Poppy Factory is grateful to Baroness Van Dedem for kindly permitting them to hold the garden party at her home.

All proceeds will go to The Poppy Factory. Adult tickets are £6 and under 16s are free.
