**UPDATE: Huge thanks to Richmond Theatre and to all the theatre-goers who went to see Private Peaceful and donated to our buckets in the foyer. The collection raised more than £1,000, which will all go towards employment support for the ex-Forces community. What a great performance!**
Ahead of Armed Forces Week in June, The Poppy Factory has partnered with Richmond Theatre to offer our supporters the chance to win two tickets to its new production of a classic wartime story by Michael Morpurgo.
Private Peaceful, which runs from June 20-25, tells the story a country lad fighting a war he doesn’t understand. It follows a soldier called Thomas “Tommo” Peaceful as he looks back on his life from the trenches in France during the First World War.
