Help us by volunteering!
Volunteering can be so much more than just doing a good deed: It is a great way to develop skills, meet new people, get exercise, spend time outdoors, or even to mix up your routine. We have lots of opportunities for volunteering and we need all the help we can get to change the lives of the 35,000 jobless disabled veterans out there. From corporate team-building, challenge events and bucket-shaking – we need you! So take a look at the list of opportunities below and see if you would like to get involved.
How can I volunteer?
Enjoy a spring afternoon in beautiful surrounds whilst giving your time to a fantastic cause!
Trumpeters’ House sits on the site of the old Richmond Palace, nestled between Richmond Green and the River Thames. Each year we give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the tranquillity of the gardens with a cup of tea, slice of cake and traditional lawn games.
We are looking for a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help us on the day with a number of activities including:
- Setting up and clearing down the event
- Information stand and guest hosting
- Running games
- Serving refreshments
Closing date: 9am, 14th May 2018
Telephone or face to face interviews will be arranged for W/C 14th May 2018
