From the archives: The Howson Brothers

admin Getting you back to work, History

We have just added two wonderful pictures to our archives – compliments of our founder’s grandnephew!

The first is of Poppy Factory founder, George Howson MC, with his brother Geoff outside the steps of the housing George built for his disabled ex-Service workforce.

Two of the Sikhs were colleagues of Geoff Howson from his days in the 4th Cavalry.

The next photo is Geoff Howson and the 4th Cavalry taken way back before the First World War started in 1910.

Fascinating stuff for the historians!
