The Poppy Factory had an incredible year in 2018 but this year we hope it will be bigger and better.
We are already planning for our Annual General Meeting where we will showcase our work to members and supporters through new inspiring videos and our Annual Review.
We are working on revamping parts of our website to ensure you can access what you need quickly, making it easier for you to get involved and find support.
We are working away behind the scenes to plan activity for this year’s Armed Forces Week campaign and can’t wait to tell you more about how you can get involved.
Last year we received planning permission to renovate our factory buildings. As the charity grows to meet increasing demand for its services, a new modern, accessible, inclusive and educational workplace is required.
The refurbishment will not only benefit staff and volunteers but also the wider veteran community. The refurbished site will allow us to showcase a ‘best-in-class’ facility which champions the employment needs of veterans with disabilities wherever they may be. We are excited to carry out further work on these plans this year.
We hope, with your support, we can help a record number of wounded, injured and sick veterans into jobs they love this year. We owe it to them for all they have given us.
