Our Ethos

The Poppy Factory is a charity which helps wounded, injured and sick ex-Service men and women back to work.

We do this by giving advice, information and guidance to those ex-Service men and women who have experienced difficulty entering the civilian workplace.

We employ a team of around 40 disabled ex-Service men and women or disabled people with a Service connection who work making poppies and wreaths all year round.

We also do this by finding supportive employers beyond The Poppy Factory who understand the value of employing skilled ex-Service personnel.

We are able to offer funding to the employer during the first year of employment to ensure a smooth transition.

Our ethos is that of long-term commitment to our clients and our employers.

We have a personalised approach to supporting wounded, injured and sick ex-Service personnel, treating each as an individual who will have differing employment needs.

We are flexible with our employers as we wish to ensure that we maintain a long term relationship with them, to ensure the best possible employment experience and outcome for our clients
