Who does The Poppy Factory help and support?The Poppy Factory supports wounded, injured or sick ex-Servicemen and women of all ages and service history. How do I contact The Poppy Factory?For more information and initial enquiries, please contact The Poppy Factory on 0208 940 3305 or email admin@poppyfactory.org. To register your details with us, please complete the registration form here. You will then be assigned to a Caseworker who will work with you to define and reach your personal goal. Please bear in mind that we will ask you for proof of service and a recent medical report describing your condition. How does The Poppy Factory help me find a job?We can help you to find work near to where you live in the UK. We have current vacancies for which you can apply or you can tell us what you would like to do and for what sort of organisation you would like to work and we will endeavour to make that connection. We also provide assistance with developing your CV and refining interview and presentation skills. Starting your new job?Your caseworker will meet with you and your new employer. Either we arrange part-funding for up to 12 months or your employer will fund your employment. We ensure that there is good training and development in place for you. Are you my employer?No. The organisation or individual for whom you are working is your employer. But we are there to give you any support you need. Can I contact you after I start?Yes. We will also keep in regular contact with you and ensure you are getting the support and development you need. What happens after the 12 month period?We want this to be the start of a new career for you. You can decide if you want to stay with the same employer or work somewhere new. We would very much like to keep in contact with you and continue to support you if needed.
