helen_aldenbrooke.jpgHelen suffers from MS, which was formally diagnosed in 2005, and is now in a wheelchair.  She met The Poppy Factory at a recruitment fair and was uplifted by her discussion with them, which made her feel more positive.

Her husband, a former Coldstream Guard, recently secured a new job, so they had to move house.  This was a difficult time for Helen, however she applied for a position at Ormerod, but wasn’t able to proceed as the offices are based on the first floor.  The Poppy Factory stepped in with funding and a stair lift has been installed.  Helen has recently started work and Ormerod are delighted to be able to take her on.
